Wackemall Media, Mining, Manufacturing, Farming & Transportation... is the world's only media, mining, manufacturing, farming & transportation outlet for Wackemall and found only at Wackemall.com here in the Piedmont Triad of North Carolina.
My name is Billy Jones and I like to create things, make things, build things, solve problems. This is the website where I now post my poetry, creative writing, short stories, satire, fiction, etc. This is the place where I'll show you what I've built. This is where I'll share comedy, satire, parody and anything else that comes to mind. Oh, and share my Wackemall no matter how messy it gets.
I created the word, 'Wackemall' 30 plus years ago as a play on the popular Yakima Luggage Racks. I needed a rack for my pick-up that no one, including Yakima, built, so I built it myself and named it Wackemall while planning to start a business manufacturing luggage racks. Unfortunately, while good at creating things I've never been good at getting businesses off the ground.
In 2001 I wrote a book titled, The Adventures of the Vegetable Stalker, in which the main character of the story, Veggie Head Stalker, carried a weapon called a Wackemall Machete. The book is available to read free at VegetableStalker.com
Speaking of not getting off the ground, in 2006 I built the Wackemall-1, the world's first Streetplane. Eventually the Wackemall-1 would be featured by Discovery Channel Canada and in 2007 was the subject of this Greensboro News & Record article titled, FLYING DOWN THE STREETS OF GREENSBORO.
Got photos from around the Piedmont Triad or ideas you think would go well here? Run them past me at RecycleBill@gmail.com and I'll see what I can make of them. No, I can't afford to pay you but I'll give you credit where credit is due or keep your name a secret if that's what you want.
Some of our sponsors are real. That is, except for the fact that most of them are don't really sponsor Wackemall.com. Since advertising isn't my business and I want to be a good neighbor I thought I'd give away advertising for free. If your business is located in the Piedmont Triad Region of North Carolina and you'd like a free plug then e-mail me at RecycleBill@gmail.com and ask.
But if you'd like to advertise here I'm willing to take your money. At which time I'll happily give all revenue gained from advertising to the Piedmont Center for Sustainability.
In other words, without any help from the government I'm trying to provide you something. Anything. If only a smile.
Hopefully someday soon we can make it all come true.
